Western is actually a quartet of campfire stories. Two strangers, traveling their separate ways on horseback, meet on a lonely stretch of trail. One invites the other to share his campfire and they begin talking and sharing tales of the Old West. It becomes a contest of who can tell a better story. The tales are interesting, off-beat with supernatural overtones, and the surprise ending of one is extraordinarily weird.
